The Devil in Love
my latest artwork is now a poster for a play "The Devil in Love". It is a new theatrical adaptation of the French classic (Le diable amoureux, 1772) by Jacques Cazotte by Raven Group.

Bravo, Jel, for your brilliant work being used for the production poster! Such an intense and fierce piece, lovely, and different from your last several works. The viewer is drawn to notice the only color within the beautifully smokey grays - - the blue lips, the red-tinged eyes, and the magenta horns. I enjoy that you've made her hair "come alive" with it's billows and twists, and that you've made the paper "glow" by mixing the murky all around her. Wonderful.
